水の不思議な話

１：分子量18の水は常温で液体。それより遥かに重い分子量44の二酸化炭素は常温で気体。
　　普通なら水は常温で気体のはずなのに、実際は液体。
２：水は色々なものを溶かすことができる。
　　これができないと、生命は発生できなかった。
３：沸点が異常に高い。
　　水素結合している物質の沸点は、普通零度以下。
４：熱が伝わり難い。
　　表面の殆どを海で覆われている地球は、おかげで気温が急変することなく保たれている。
５：表面張力が強い。
　　このおかげで、生物は血液を体の末端まで送ることが出来る。
６：固体（氷）が液体（水）の上に浮く。
　　普通、固体になると体積は減少するので固体は液体の中に沈むはずなのに、水だけは固体が浮く。
　　これがないと、当然流氷はないし、氷河期になれば海は凍りつき海の生物は全滅する。

生物の発生以前に、水の性質がすでに神秘的
